The putrid smell was
overbearing. As they shuffled into the old, dilapidated house, Dhivyah
instantly knew that something was amiss. “Guys, please let’s turn back. I don’t
want to go any further! Something is up…. I can feel it,” Dhivyah pleaded. Jo
Ann and Melanie kept going. Dhivyah hesitantly followed.
They had sneaked out to explore the old house on the
hill. They walked around the house and entered different rooms. When they were
outside the 6th room on the second floor, they realized an awful
stench coming from inside of the room. “Burgh! What is that smell?” Jo Ann
whined. They pushed open the creaky wooden door.
The moment they stepped in, a blast of cold air hit them.
They looked around, terrified. The room was some kind of freezer for bones and
body parts. There was a curtain in the middle of the room. Melanie bravely
walked towards it and drew it open. She gasped.
It was a torture chamber! There was guillotine, a gallow,
a small prickly bed where people were cut into pieces and many more! Suddenly,
they heard a car pull up on the driveway. The girls immediately ran out of the
room and hid. They heard a man walking in while grunting. “That must be the
cannibal!” Melanie thought to herself.
After a while, they heard the car slowly driving away and
so they took the opportunity to run away as fast as possible from the house.
Little did they know that the cannibal saw them leaving,
but decided to save them for tomorrow’s breakfast…
